As your certified birth doula, I offer professional continuous emotional and physical support as well as comprehensive assistance throughout the entire birth process.  Empowering you and your family to be your own advocates before, during and after the birth of your baby.

I believe in active communication between clients and their doctors, nurses, and midwives to ensure an optimal birth experience. Working together to establish and carry out your birth wishes through your detailed birth plan. Let's talk and find out your concerns, your desires and your plans for you birth story.

Studies show that doula support provides 

  • 31% decrease in the use of Pitocin

  • 28% decrease in the risk of C-section

  • 34% decrease in the risk of being dissatisfied with the birth experience

  • 14% decrease in the risk of newborn being admitted to the NICU

  • 12% increase in the likelihood of a spontaneous, vaginal birth

  • 9% decrease in the use of pain medications

Birth Doula Package 

  • One-two prenatal appointment depending on needs​

  • Phone and email support throughout late pregnancy and early postpartum

  • A birthing ball of your own to use at home and at the hospital

  • Use of TENS Unit and peanut ball (during labor)

  • Continuous labor and delivery support

  • Immediate breastfeeding support

  • One Postnatal appointment

  • Birth story and access to photos (as able)

  • I require a 50% deposit upon contract signing.  Full payment is expected by 36 weeks. 

  • During your prenatal meetings, we will discuss your birth goals and preferences. I can help you write a birth plan, suggest childbirth education classes, books, and articles that would be beneficial for you to read.  We learn what comfort measures may or may not work for you in labor.  I give your partner tips for how to comfort you in labor. I will help you get comfortable and answer questions to help relieve any anxiety about the birth experience.

  • Some of us are survivors of past traumas, we will address ways to alleviate anxiety and work through past trauma bore entering your labor and birth. This can help in your birth experience and bring a new snece of confidence as your family grows.

  • Most new parents plan for pregnancy, labor and birth. While forgetting to prepare for postpartum. I can help you make plans and be ready to care for your recovery and newborn for a healthier transition for your family.

       Extras:

  • Additional prenatal appointment(s), $50 each

  • Travel fee will be added for meetings outside of 20-mile radius

  • Childbirth Class (2 hours) $150.00 private class or $100.00 per couple for group class.

Timeline of Birth Doula Services…

I’m pregnant! - Seek a practitioner and start researching doulas.

• 20-30 weeks - Interview and hire your doula.

• 30- 34 weeks - 1st prenatal with your doula.

• 30-34 weeks - Childbirth Education Class.

• 36-37 weeks - 2nd prenatal with your doula.

• 38-41 weeks - Birth (generally)

• Postnatal appointment -first week after birth, depending on your needs.
